A birthday boat on Lake Travis: bring the people, we bring the cake
Thirtieths and fortieths go on the Nautique: three hours, a surf set for whoever is game, the tube for everyone else, and a cove to anchor in. Kids’ birthdays go on the pontoon, where there is shade, room for twelve and a lily pad to jump off. Either way a cake from a local bakery rides in a cooler bag until you want it, a crew member shoots the day, and twenty edited photos arrive within 48 hours.
The pre-trip text says happy birthday to the right person. Tell us the name for the cake and any allergies when you book.

Birthday Boat

Surf, tube and the cove on the Nautique. The captain shapes the wave and coaches from the platform.
- 3 hours on the Watersports, up to 10 guests
Both include the captain, fuel, the cake, the photos, the tube and lily pad, vests, towels and a cooler with ice and water. On any other charter the cake is a $50 add-on and the photo pack is $100; here they are inside the price. A 50% deposit holds the date.
How it usually goes
- A surf set while everyone is fresh, then the tube.
- The cove: anchor, lily pad, music on the sound system, cake when you call it.
- Candles are fine. Confetti and glitter are not; the lake keeps them forever.
- Photos go to the person who booked. We may post one with your permission; opt out at the dock.
The rules that do not bend
- Guests 21 and over may drink responsibly. Nobody under 21 is served. Cans and plastic only.
- Nobody gets towed behind the boat after drinking.
- Everyone aboard signs the waiver on their phone beforehand; a parent signs for each child.
- Weather is our call, on the day. Full refund or a new date if we cancel.
Lake Travis, west of Austin, Texas. Pickup at your lake house dock, or at our usual spot in Hudson Bend, between Lakeway and Lago Vista; people drive in from Jonestown, Cedar Park and Leander. We send directions before the trip.
