A private boat for bachelor and bachelorette parties on Lake Travis, captain included
Twelve of you, a Super Air Nautique, and a captain who drives it the whole time. Nobody in your group takes the wheel, ever, so nobody has to be the one who stays sober to run the boat. You pick the hours, three to seven, and we bring the boards, the vests, the towels and the iced cooler.
We do a lot of these. The Saturday of the weekend is the usual slot, and in May and June it is the first one to go.

A good way to run it is a couple of surf sets while everyone is fresh. The captain shapes the wave and coaches from the platform, and the first-timers are usually up within a few tries. The tube comes out for whoever wants it. Then somebody asks about the cove, and that is the second half of the day: anchor somewhere quiet, lily pad in the water, music on the sound system, everyone in and out of the lake until it is time to head back. The captain reads the group and runs it that way. If nobody wants to get on a board at all, that is fine too, and for that group the pontoon is worth a look.
Bring
- Swimsuits, sunscreen, hats and sunglasses. Lake Travis sun is not a joke.
- Your food and drinks. Alcohol is fine for guests 21 and over.
- Cans and plastic only. No glass on the boat.
- Cups, if there is something to share.
- A playlist. The boat has the speakers.

One rule we do not bend: nobody gets towed behind the boat after drinking.
If nobody wants to do the grocery run on the morning of the party, there is a separate business on the lake that will do it for you.

Sales tax is added on top. Fuel, captain and gear are in the price. A 50% deposit holds the date and the balance is settled before the trip. The pontoon is $150 an hour for three to eight hours. The full rate card, holiday weekend pricing and payment methods are on the FAQ.
If plans change
Cancel more than 48 hours before the trip and everything you have paid comes back. Between 24 and 48 hours out, the deposit is kept and anything above it is refunded. Inside 24 hours nothing is refunded. Weather is our call, made on the day and not off a forecast, and if we cancel for unsafe conditions you choose between a full refund and a new date. How many people can we bring on a bachelorette party boat?
Up to 12 guests on the Nautique, and up to 12 on the pontoon. The captain is not counted in that number. If your group is bigger, call 512-839-4573 and we will work out whether two trips or two boats makes more sense.
Can we drink on the boat?
Yes, for guests 21 and over, drinking responsibly. Cans and plastic only, no glass on board. Nobody gets towed behind the boat after drinking. The captain does not drink on duty and can end a trip early if a guest becomes unsafe.
Do we drive the boat ourselves?
No. Every trip is a captained charter. Our captain drives from the dock to the dock and your group rides as passengers. That is what makes it work for a party: nobody has to stay sober to run the boat.
How much does it cost for the group?
The Nautique is priced per hour for the whole boat. 3 hours is $750, 4 hours is $950, 5 hours is $1,128.25, 6 hours is $1,290 and 7 hours is $1,400, plus sales tax. Split twelve ways a four-hour Saturday is under $80 a head before tax. A 50% deposit holds the date. The pontoon is $150 an hour.
What if we have to cancel?
More than 48 hours before the trip, everything you have paid is refunded. Between 24 and 48 hours the deposit is kept. Inside 24 hours nothing is refunded. If we cancel for unsafe weather, you choose a full refund or a new date.
Does everyone need to sign something?
Yes. Every person aboard signs the liability waiver before the trip, and the person booking has to be 21 or over. We send one link after the deposit; everyone signs on their own phone ahead of time so nobody is filling out forms at the ramp.
