Electric jet foil demos on Lake Travis: we keep an Awake RÄVIK and you can come ride it
The Awake RÄVIK is an electric jet foil: a jet drive in the board itself, not a wing under it. It is not an eFoil, which lifts you on a hydrofoil mast; this rides on the water. It accelerates the moment you squeeze the throttle, it turns hard, and it does not need a boat, a rope or a wave to work.
You book two hours, we bring the board and a charged battery to Lake Travis, just west of Austin, Texas, and one of us coaches you through it.
Riders are 14 and up. A helmet and a vest are supplied and required. You will fall, that is the point; the water is soft and the board stops the moment you let go of the throttle.

Awake Board Demo Session
2 hours on the board, up to 2 riders, a charged battery, coaching from the dock. No boat needed.
$200 flat, $216.50 with tax
Awake and Surf Day
The board first while the water is flat, then the Nautique for the surf half. About 4.5 hours all up, up to 6 guests.
$1,250 flat, $1,353.13 with tax
Awake Demo Day
Sun, Jun 13, 2027, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. 6 seats, everyone gets battery time, Jacob in the water. 6 seats left.

Awake board rotation, on any charter
A rotation on the Awake RAVIK Explore electric jet foil for your group, up to 6 riders, ages 14 and up. The board rides along on your Nautique or pontoon day and the group takes turns; the calendar holds the board for your whole trip.
$200 per trip, $216.50 with tax
Two battery packs, about ninety minutes of ride time each, one on the charger while the other is out; six riders is the most a rotation can carry for that reason. Weight range per the manual. A parent signs for a rider under 18.

A demo is two hours at a flat rate
It works the same whether you have never stood on a board or you ride every weekend. We start with a safety briefing before you get on. Then you get on, and we coach you through it: how the throttle actually behaves, balance, where to put your weight, and how to control the board once it is moving.
A complete beginner and an experienced rider do not get the same session. You get coaching pitched at where you are, not a script.

The reason we keep one is that it goes where the boat cannot. No driver, no wave to chase, no rope to hold. It is quick to pick up, and it is genuinely fast, which is most of the fun. It suits lake house and boat owners who want to try one before they buy, corporate days, and bachelor and bachelorette groups looking for something nobody in the group has done before.

These are not a cheap board and the models differ more than the website suggests. We can talk you through which one fits how you’d actually use it, answer the questions the spec sheet doesn’t, and point you at where to buy.
